1980 Volkswagen Caravelle Description:

Regret to inform that I've decided to get rid of this one of a kind adventure vehicle. It's an '88 VW Syncro with low miles, a new engine as of 2017 and a body with very limited wear and tear. Beyond the engine swap for an '06 2.0L Jetta gasoline engine, the transmission was rebuilt to accommodate the larger engine, the entire break system was rebuilt this summer and the battery cables were replaced with a braided cable system for better connection last fall. I love this thing but don't have the money or mechanical expertise to keep up. If anybody is interested or knows anyone looking for a bus like this let me know. Looking to at least break even on all the work that's been done on a bus that's almost impossible to find anywhere but open to offers.
Note- This is an 1988 Syncro. The VIN number I punched into eBay declared it invalid
