1960 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Description:

Selling my extremely dry 1960 Bus. I'm selling this to fund a 21 window project. This bus is being sold with a bill of sale only.
40 HP engine is in it and runs and drives! It needs the brakes to be gone through to be a good driver.
The only major rust through is in the front cab floor and maybe rear corners. There are also small holes through on one of the cargo doors.
See pictures. There is no interior. Prior owners converted the rear into a bed. I removed the front seats that were not correct. There is still some angle iron welded to the back of the seats that I did not remove.

It currently needs a $7 wheel seal kit, to prevent transaxle fluid from leaking out of the passenger side axle. The front driver's brake cylinder is also leaking brake fluid. I have wheel cylinders that I will include in the deal which will solve the problem. It will need the brake system gone through, as it hasn't been on the road in a long time.

It does start, run well and drive as it is. Though I would not take it far without going over the braking system and fixing the axle leak.

This is an excellent candidate to be an awesome driver. Fully restore or clear coat!
You're welcome to come see it in Escondido. I just bought and installed new tires, did a tune up on the engine, and installed a new clutch.
