1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Description:

Dad's old beater VW diesel pick up. Speedo sez 175,000 miles. Probably right. Extra steering rack in the bed, condition unknown. Extra motor/transmission in bed, condition unknown, believed to be from Rabbit sedan. Not sure on VIN, but can provide if it's important before you bid. Delivered 50mpg 'back in the day'.
Poor condition. Interior is ruined and rodent chewed. Driver door does not open from the outside. Very little exterior rust, rust in floorboards, a few dents. Ran when parked about 20+ years ago. No title, sold with bill of sale (marked as Salvage Title above cause Ebay forces a response - THERE IS NO TITLE). Probably a parts car, you would have to be dedicated or insane to restore this one. Hood latch frozen or cable broken, had to force the latch to release hood. Brakes nonfunctional. Clutch seems to work, trans-axle shifts thru all gears. Tailgate functions (latches/unlatches/raises/lowers), but hinges are wonky. Please don't ask if we have started it. It does not run as far was we know.
