1974 Volkswagen Thing Description:

Super clean and original 1974 VW Thing. Full repaint in 2004 to original VW Blizzard White. No rust. Stored in heated garage in Homewood, CA. Extensive engine work completed at vintage VW specialist VAS Motor Works in SF 1/18, replace right side cylinder head, new brakes and master cylinder, new CV boots, new door lock, oil service, carb cleaning, and tune-up. Full invoice for work available. Tires with tread as new. Runs and idles beautifully. No leaks. Full set of original side curtains included. One rotten panelunder battery was removed for 2004 re-paint and is included in sale (see attached picture). No excuses, no stories, honest car. Full tan Coco mat set. Selling to free up garage space.
