1980 Volkswagen Rabbit LX Description:

1980 Volkswagen rabbit 1.5 diesel 4 speed. All original never messed with no bondo. Runs and drives great, you can drive it home. Located in Denver Colorado. Delivery between Denver to LA is possible. Comes with front grill. Rear bumper is not stock.
Truck was most recently purchased about 3 years ago in AZ. Previous owner had it serviced at my shop and put back on the road for daily driving. Starts excellent in 10 degree colorado winter weather. Tires are new. We added gauges so water temp, oil, and volts could be properly monitored. Recently he bought a newer truck and I bought it from him. I own several VW diesel pickups. I own a VW shop, please be serious if you are contacting me.
The body is really straight. Has no rust. Floor pans are clean. Seems on the underside are straight, no folding from improper vehicle lifting or jacking. PLEASE READ the truck has some body damage to the front passenger fender. Previous owner remote started his new truck and it was in gear parked in front of the VW. I think a decent body guy could fix the fender or a new one could be purchased, yes they still make german ones, they are about $250. Other than the fender it is in overall really great shape.
This is not a regular VW pickup. 1980 was the first year they made it. The mountain green color is very very hard to find. This is the only one for sale in the entire country. It has been 3 years since one has come up for sale, bid accordingly.
