1985 vw jetta sedan DIESEL 1.6 litre runs good solid california car no reserve

1985 Volkswagen Jetta Description:

your looking at a 1985 diesel jetta sedan...with working a/c.equipped with a 5 speed manual transmission with 1.6 litre diesel motor.i am a collector and aquired this lil diesel from a charity.runs good..no smoke.good compression..hard to start because it might need some glow plugs..i can start it on a warm day with just compression.once its warm it starts easily the rest of the day.the transmission shifts through all gears smoothly.the clutch dosent slip but i dont think it has much life left on it.this classic diesel jetta has great bones.no rust underneath.the rockers are clean and dry.never patched or rusted.the trunk is in good shape with a small amount of corrosion in the middle .right.very small 2 inch by 6 inch.not rusted through..i replaced the fuel filter and air filter.good battery.was in storage since 2017.registered last in 2017.smog exempt.even here in the Peoples Republic of California.feels like the front right strut is no good.i can here it and feel it.i drove it on the freeway like that.i love diesels.this has a good lil motor.boy was is surprised when i turned on the a/c switch and heard the compressor kick on,rpm's go down.i almost fell over with joy and disbelief.bidders with less then 5 positive feedbacks need to contact us before bidding.or your bid will be cancelled and blocked.thanks.lets have a clean auction where the highest bidder buys the car.no reserve.$500 deposit due within 48hrs of auction close.
