1968 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Description:

This is a 1968 Karmann Ghia resto mod that was brought to the east coast from California approximately 4 years ago. It was driven sparingly for the first three before it was parked and covered. As a result of her sitting, the carburetors were professionally rebuilt and the fuel tank drained and flushed. Additionally, a new battery was installed. Starts, runs and drives perfectly. She is powered by an immaculate 1835cc with 40mm kadrons. The interior is spotless and features a Kenwood 800 watt system with 6 speakers including a pair of subs(10") behind the rear seat. To round out the look, she also has replica Fuchs wheels. Unfortunately during the hibernation, some small rust spots and bubbles have appeared in the usual places as shown in the pics. The front bumper will need to be re-chromed as well. This is a beautiful car that very close show condition. Feel free to ask any questions.
