1973 Volkswagen Bus

1973 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Description:

1973 Bus. Runs and drives well. I built this bus to drive and I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere very reliable.
Engine: Upright conversion 2007cc, 78mm counterweight crankshaft, engle 110 cam, aluminium case full flowed, remote oil filter HP1, one wire alternator, 009 w/pertronix, dual weber 40 dcnf plumbed for vac brake booster, dog house oil cooler, powder coated tin,breather box, tach, oil pressure, oil temp and voltage gauges. This engine was made for pushing a bus, torque not speed. Runs great, I don't need to downshift for hills anymore.
Chassis: Drop spindles, new ball joints, front and rear sway bars, original 3 rib transmission, power brakes. suspension works great, it doesn't swerve when passed by a semi.
Interior: Homemade back seat folds into full size bed with futon with storage space underneath, Pioneer stereo with 2 6x9 and 4 5inch, sub not hooked up yet but will be soon, interior still a little rough but I'll be addressing that soon and price will go up.
Body: Rust in battery tray and small amount in drivers side floor, other than that very solid. Slider side windows, windows tinted all around, front turn signals relocated, all seals replaced. Space case shown in some pics is available for extra $. Also powder coated Jackman 14" wheels and VW FXR license plates available.
This is a preliminary ad in case someone wants it unfinished and cheaper. I have started fixing it up in order to make more money. I will be giving it a flat black/yellow paint job, new tires, lower rear suspension and interior upgrades. The more I do the more I'll charge, if you want it at this price move quickly.
