1985 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Westfalia Description:

Disregard the odometer, the engine and throttle body on this 1985 VW Westfalia Vanagon simply purr since rebuild at 137,000 miles. In addition, I had my mechanic install a rebuilt alternator and starter, new battery, catalytic converter, belts, spark plugs, air and oil filters, LED headlights, CD-player/digital music player, front- and rear-looking highway video monitors, and a klaxon horn ("ahhoooga!"), just for fun! As I fitted her with four new tires about 900 miles back, you probably won't need the three spares, but I'll include them anyway! The transmission is tight, and shifts like new! And the sink and refrigerator? The sink has been modified: fill it via the manual pump on the counter, and lift the basin to discard waste water. The refrigerator is new and runs on common house current; plug it in upon reaching your campsite.
The metal sparkles and clear-coat paint on this Westy turned heads two years ago, when I purchased it. But regrettably, the paint is now blistering in places. (Please note paint blisters in photos.) Even so, you'll draw admiring glances wherever you go!
Anything else? Yes, I'm selling this Westy "AS IS/WHERE IS/WITH ALL FAULTS--NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED." But if you MUST have it delivered, give me a shout, and depending on your location (and satisfactory down payment, of course), I just might agree to deliver it in person!
