JPS Motorsports “Half-Vee” (VW donor mini-Hummer kit car)

This is a great head-turner for fun rides around town, or as a beach buggy, or RV tow-along. I am retiring soon, and have decided to give up the last of my VW hobby cars.

Why build new? This car is a good project vehicle with a very fast turn-around. Clean her up, give her a good tuning, and you’re on the road. Kits for a set up comparable to this vehicle run about $8k, then you need to get a VW donor car with engine, tranny, etc, and then many months of work building the car. If you like classic VW’s, this buggy makes a perfect complement to any stable. A very light car, easy to tow.

Two time “best of show” winner, and multiple placings, at VW rallies, this car has been off the road for several years due to family matters, and needs some TLC.

Kit components include body (4 seater), roll bar, hard doors, rag top with full side curtains, spare tire mount.

1972 Bug donor car. Engine by Hicks, Solex dual carbs, hard mounts, tuck-away exhaust. Rancho Performance Sand Tranny.

Installed accessories: cloth seats, seat belts, heater duct work, speedo, radio, luggage rack.

Extras: tow bar and tow lighting included.
