1960 Volkswagen Panel Bus Van

1960 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Description:

Born on April of 1960 was this Volkswagen panel van. It was originally dove blue with grey interior. It has sat for many, many years outdoors and therefore has rust. Despite the metal work that will need to be done, the steadily increasing popularity of the split-windshield bus icon makes this a worthwhile project to be completed. Most buses this age need the bottom 6", or bottom 12", meaning side rocker panels, doglegs, floors, etc. This one is no exception and also needs some roof repair and repair at the bottoms of each of the doors. The interior is much less rusty than the exterior, and the frame of the vehicle is remarkably solid, as is the front end. The vehicle currently rolls and steers, but a trailer is highly recommended if you decide to buy it. The price is firm and it will be the last time I post it for quite some time. I have many projects at hand and if this one doesn't sell for what I ask, it will simply be dry-stored until its turn in line.
