The car starts up right away in the morning.It has the original 1200cc engine, upgraded some components, such as the single carb to dual webber carbs. ignition wires, spark plugs, ignition coil, exhaust system.It has EMPI front disc brake conversion kit with a 2" drop spindle in front, the rear torsion bar was adjusted to lower the rear. Both front and rear have new shocks. The rear wheels are just flipped, and the hub cap clips welded to the insides.Fender mirrors, hood emblem, window rain guard, basket storage, roof rack, headlight eye brows, front bumper, and turn signals are aftermarket due to the condition of the original parts.I have an original VW roof rack that needs new wood planks, i have the original front and rear bumpers and guards as well as the stock single carb and intake manifold.The charging system has been upgraded to a 12V charging system.The car was painted by previous owner, it's not the same exact red, the clear coat is peeling and flaking on most parts, some rust has formed mainly on the top rain gutters, and some on the bottom of the doors. No rust on the underside or pan.The inside is in good condition, the red paint on the inside panels are original, no stereo, and the door card for the driver side is damaged and a new board is needed to be made and wrapped to restore it. The original one is still in the car.This car was going to be my new project but i don't have time to start a new one.If it doesn't sell on here then it will stay with me until i get the time to clean her up.
