Stk 2375 1965 Volkswagen Beetle This rare 1965 Volkswagen Beetle is a fine example of one of the most popular cars of all time. The partial restoration began with a solid straight vehicle. The exterior received a nice respray in 2003 and the interior was reupholstered in Beige vinyl (2006). Dash and gauges are excellent and the radio appears to be an original VW AM unit. True there is no air conditioning power seats or power locks - but the pop-out rear windows are very cool! This Beetle is powered by a 40HP 1200cc flat four that was totally rebuilt in 2016. A 4-speed fully-synchronized transmission shifts smoothly and the 4-wheel drum brakes perform well. Electrics have been converted from 6V to 12V. Suspension is stock and 15" Volkswagen road wheels with factory hubcaps mount nice Nexen radial tires. This is a nice "Bug" and someone is going to have a lot of fun with it.
