Mechanical

• Rebuilt 2 liter engine. Engine rebuilt in August 2015 @ 87,627 miles at LaVere's VW, Concord, CA. including all new fuel hoses.
• New paint in 2014, all windows removed and seals replaced. No bondo or filler.
• Bumpers stripped and painted.
• Fiberglass top removed and recoated with marine grade gloss.
• New Vanco tires < 500 miles.
• Recent mechanic work (2017) includes:
  • New KYB high pressure gas shocks
  • Swing lever arm rebuilt - replaced all bushings and seals, adjusted steering box
  • Brakes - new pads and seals, resurface rotors
  • Clean and pack wheel bearings
  • Replaced all brake hoses
  • New speedometer cable
  • Replaced front shift tube bushing and coupler
  • CV boots - R&R CV joints, clean and pack joints, replace boot kits
