1981 vw rabbit pickup for sale. I am a full time college student and don't have time to mess with it. I was in the process of fully restoring it when a car turned out in front of me in an intersection, and I couldn't stop in time. I had a body and frame shop estimate the repair @ $1000 if i supplied the parts. the body has a lot of new parts. Battery (6 months old from oriellys), master cylinder, power booster, front and rear wheel bearings, rotors and drums, parking brake cables, new shocks in the rear, tires are in great shape fronts only have 10,000 mi on them. Door handles work perfectly, windows work great etc. Interior needs work. No underbody rust. Floor pans are perfect. Only deep rust is in the pictures, behind the wrecked area. Have a clean title (1not salvage) in hand ready to go. Comes with topper, front end (cut off a rusty rabbit) and full great running drivetrain. Its an ff code five speed trans that shifts smooth, and doesn't leak or make noises. motor has fresh oil, filter timing belt, roller, etc. 0 leaks! The drivetrain alone is worth $1000.
