Karmann Ghia Convertible

1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Description:

Isaw my first Karmann Ghia in 1981 while stationedin Naval Air Station Lemoore and wanted one since. Ifinally found a green 1971 convertibleparked in a garage in 2015 and purchased it as my retirementgift. I waitedfour months for my turn to get it into the shopI wanted to do the work (body work, paint,interior, engine/transmission overhaul, gaps adjustment all overand work on the roof mechanics).Eight months later I was finally able to take the car home. Once home I discovered the shop had torn, and tried to hide, a small rip in the headliner, broke the rear seat hinge point anddid not fix any of the gaps I asked for. Essentially it took about a year to get a very nice black paint job, new interior and engine/transmission overhaul. I've since been diagnosed withan illness thatwill eventually keep me from getting in and driving my car. I'vehad my dream car and marked it off my list, hopefully there is someone out therewhohasaGhia Convertible on their list.

I am willing to take any and all reasonable offers and will work with potential buyers with transfer of funds and pick up/delivery.
