1991VW Vanagon Multivan Westfalia with Subaru 2.2 and auto transmission. This van shows so well that pics do no justice. This thing constantly has people nearing it asking questions, crawling underneath and many turning heads. It has been my daily driver for the past few months and I will be bummed to see it go. We started with a super clean and original multivan and prepared it for the transformation. The van runs very strong and has plenty of power. This car has recently undergone a no expense spared extensive upgrades and beautification project with the intent of travel. Within the last 8 months the van has had new windows out multistage paint by Marlows in San Diego in the factory burgundy color. GoWesty lift springs with fox shocks with reservoirs and burley upper control arms. All bushing throughout the front end were replaced with the highest quality European rubber for a quiet and smooth ride at the same time all ball joints and tyrod ends were also replaced. New brakes with Brembro rotors and stainless brake lines. Rocky Mountain Westy bumpers were added for saftey and good looks.Carrot wheels in semi gloss black powder coat were added with BFG AT KO2 tires. All new window seals/rubber were done at time of paint. A trans cooler by Small Car Specialties was added. For better airflow we added a Rocky Mountain Westy air box and intake. A South African grill kit with LED headlights by Vintage LED was added for saftey and looks. New 944 u-joints were added for reliability and strength. All systems we flushed, cleaned or replaced. My mechanic has spent hours under this van to make sure all systems are functioning properly and it is ready to go. The vans interior is 100% original and is very clean. It has no rips, damage, tears or smells. Driver door panel missing map pocket. This van has no fluid leaks whatsoever....none. The upgrades have less than 2000 (two-thousand) miles since completion. The list of upgrades goes on and on, I have all receipts including mechanics tuning and dialing. Sometimes life throws things that we don't expect; therefore the sale.
