This Super Beetle is an ultra Rare S739 Option package, which meant that each US Dealer received One of these Triple White Limited Edition Super Beetles, the S739 package included white convertible roof - all VW Convertibles have black roofs except the S739 like this one, - White seats, and white exterior, Wood grain dash, special steering wheel and shifter, adjustable headrests and unique seat covering material. This is Ultra Rare, less than 500 units produced it can be verified in the book by J.T. Garwood, "Volkswagen Beetle, the car of the century". It was also known as the Bicentennial Edition VW Beetle. It was factory code S739.
This 1976 Volkswagen Super Beetle has been stored for the last 35 years in a heated and Air Conditioned private collector building. It was driven regularly but sparingly over that time period. This Super Beetle is 100% original, it has never been repainted or restored, it is a true time capsule. It has 21,000 miles and the seller verified the miles, and the miles are listed as correct on the title and by a federal odometer statement. The condition of this car is about as close to perfect as is possible. It starts right up, runs, drives and handles like a new car. There are no leaks at all. The seats have no wear or rips or tears.
