1979 Triumph Spitfire Description:

For sale, my 1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500. Good condition, a running and driving classic.  The Spitfire is a daily driver, it has been on many road trips in the Southwest and across the country.  This Summer it has been primary to and from the local pool with the top down.  Solid body and frame, all systems operate correctly.  Recently maintenance: Clutch master cylinder, Brake master cylinder, fluids changed, wires/plug/cap/rotor, filters, convertible top, fuel pump, sway bar bushings, cooling hoses, water pump, and drive belt.  The paint is the factory color, interior is dated but clean.  Since this is a daily car, there are normal stone chips and minor scratches.  Driving an old Spit is like flying a 152 Cessna or commuting in a good looking tractor, but a reasonably priced cool classic British sports car.  Being in the Southwest our dry climate breaks down fabric and rubber.  Long term, I would recover the seats, inspect bushings, hoses and seals.  Happy to show the Spit if you live local, or fire it up over the phone and do a walk-around.
