1980 Triumph TR7 Spider convertible

1980 Triumph TR7 Spider Description:

True Spider. Paid 3000 for it in May. Redid the vinyl seats (800), very nice. New carpet (100). New wheels (800), new tires (600) and new spare tire. Used POR 15 on interior floor and trunk floor. Then used sound deadener on floor, behind door panels, and in trunk. Fabricated carpeted finished trunk area. Mechanic says brakes are good. New battery (80) and new alternator (125) but is not holding a charge. New stereo and speakers. Mechanic also says engine has lots of leaks and needs rebuilt. Wiper motor has been removed, may need new one. Old one included. Pop up lights work. Left rear turn light not working. Right front marker not working but may be fixed prior to sale. Other lights and brake lights work. Dent in right front fender. Many small dents all over. Hood needs adjusted and secured. I took it off to work on motor and it needs squared up. Luggage rack removed, holes remain. Transmission is good. It is a factory 5-speed. Reverse works fine. Unsure of gauges. Door panels look better in photos, one is taped up a bit. I think clock works! I have driven less than 5 miles. Been either working on it or the charge issue has kept me from driving. Selling because I don't have expertise to fix charge issue or rebuild motor. And I want my garage spot now that it's cold. Many other small fixes complete like light switch, wiper stalk, tail lamps, window trim, mirror, etc. etc. etc. Also, the windows look foggy but that's just morning condensation. Top is actually pretty good.
