tarts everytime, runs cool, excellent oil pressure. multiple prior owners so car now has twin webbers, oil cooler, magnetic gas cap, suspension reworked, engine said to have been rebuilt, new u-joints and bushings, replaced floor pans, new generator everything works but the car is after all 46 yrs old and for past few years sat in a couple of different old mens garages available for inspection-local pick up for delivery option ok-i just got back from a one hour drive in Texas hill country in August, nose up-tail down accelerating with buttery smooth transmission and OD for the highway, oil pressure was 40 at idle. i know, i didn't believe it either at first so bought a gage an NAPA and the in dash gage is spot on. water temp doesn't get hot, didn't believe that either so bought a temperature gun and shot it, and the in dash gage is spot on. the quad exhaust has the best decelerating rumble you will ever hear . if you are after a museum piece, keep looking. if you are after a solid driving TR6 with no shimmy that brakes well and is mechanically reliable this one should suit your needs and of course no one has a 6 with a surrey top
