1980 Triumph Spitfire Description:

The last year of the Spitfire. Very original, zero rust, 1980 Triumph Spitfire 1500. Very solid driver with recent motor rebuild although needs valve adjustments. There seems to be a lower end knock as well. I would remove oil pan and inspect all rod bearings. These motors are super simple and easy to work on. New Stainless Falcon exhaust pipe with new muffler. Clean interior and seats. Good top and rear windows. All glass in excellent condition, both door windows work. New tires and new battery! Missing side door mirrors, rear luggage rack and wiper motor. Great candidate for concours restoration or drive all summer and enjoy it. This Spitfire runs, drives, steers, shifts through all the gears, stops and reverses. It does need attention to the bottom end. It does have a Standard crank in the motor. Buyer responsible for transport arrangement and costs. I can assist with loading. Being sold as is where is.
