1971 Triumph Spitfire MKIV Description:

1971 Triumph Spitfire MKIV 1300.
For starters, I had to relist because when I tried to add photos to the last listing, ebay malfunctioned and wouldn't let me make any changes. So I apologize to anyone who had bids on the previous listing. So, let's try this again.
The car is in overall excellent condition. While the car is not perfect, it is much cleaner than most, and is a great quality driver. The body was completely stripped down to bare metal and all rust was cut out and replaced with new metal. This was done on a rotisserie, so it was a very in depth restoration. The frame was also taken down to bare metal and painted to match the body. The bumpers are original and are very straight, but the chrome shows its age. The car runs and drives great. It is a non-overdrive car. I could go on and list everything that was replaced or renewed, but I won't bore you with that list, as it is very lengthy. The pictures should speak for themselves. Parts that have been upgraded are : Mikuni Carb, Aluminum Radiator, Walnut Dash, Moto-Lita Steering Wheel, Minilite style wheels, upgraded headlight circuit, EBC green brake pads, Koni Shocks all around, Polyurethane bushings, sport front lowering springs, Pacesetter Monza exhaust. The interior is a combination of new and original. The seats and panels were in good shape (as you can see in the pictures, so they are still original. The carpet is all new as is most of the vinyl trim. The roof is in great shape. The car also has a removable hard top that still needs to be finished and can be included if so desired. I also have the matching paint that I can throw in too.
The restoration was completed 2 years ago and the car has about 1,000 miles on it since then. I can add any pictures on request. Please let me know if you have any questions . Thank You for looking!
