Triumph Tr-6
1973 Triumph TR-6 Description:
Beautiful 1973 TR-6. I bought this car several years ago online and it arrived from Florida with a rebuilt title which had not been disclosed. However, I decided to keep the car and have spent serious money on it since then. Most notably, last year I replaced the original frame with a triple powder coated chassis that looks as good as new. I replaced the brakes, springs, fuel and brake lines, steering rack, tie rod ends, springs, front shocks, bushings, valve cover, etc. This car has a perfect top that I rarely use because I keep the car in the garage and only drive it on nice days. I added headers and a Monza free flow exhaust. I also replaced the wood dash and added a beautiful wood steering wheel. The car has almost new tires and I recently put Konig Rewind wheels on it.
The paint is very good. I would rate it an 8 out of 10. All electrical works fine with the exception of the fuel and temp gauges. If you know these cars, you know these two guagues are linked to a voltage stabilizer that can be temperamental. This is a great car for the money. The buyer will get a great deal only because of the title issue.
