1967 Triumph Spitfire

1967 Triumph Spitfire Mark III Description:

I’ve owned this car for approximately 28 years. I’d like to see her go to someone who will finish putting the final touches on. She underwent a complete frame off restoration with lots of bells and whistles including headers, falcon stainless steel exhaust, front and rear anti sway bars, new wiring harness throughout. The engine is not original; it was pulled from a different MkIII that had 50,000 miles it. I welded in new floor pans, rocker panels, removed every ounce of rust from the fire wall, primed and then had a restoration body shop paint her. I have a fiberglass hardtop (needs painting and refurbishing) that goes with it as well as a few top frames, new soft top and lots of spare bits. She runs and drives – needs finishing touches.

A few items to note:

1) 1)Brake fluid has leaked from the reservoir and damaged the paint on the fire wall (frustrating considering the effort I put into making the fire wall look new).

2) 2) Needs finishing touches inside and out such as -door handle levers installed, window handles installed (mechanisms are in place), windshield wiper arms, etc. I have a carpet kit that will go with the car but personally don’t like the quality. Seats need refurbishing.

3) 3)The rubber around the windshield is cracking (which is frustrating as it was replaced as well).

4) 4)The tachometer and oil pressure gauge are not connected.
