The engine is theToyota 13B. This is the direct injection version of the renowned 3B which was sold in the Canada/US in some 60-Series Land Cruisers, so many parts are easily available. Arguable one of the top Toyota diesels with all the advantages of direct injection without any of the electronics of a modern truck. 5-speed. New Tires. New fluids, belts, filters, and batteries. 1986. This was a fire truck and I just took off the fire equipment and put the dump bed on it. You can custom make the sides of the bed as high as you like or remove them. In Japan these trucks have to go through very rigorous regular maintenance and they do not use salt on their roads. It has a CB radio and lots of strange buttons and levers from it's day as a fire truck. Thistruck is from Japan (JDM), right-hand-drive, with all of the legal/proper importation paperwork. It has a clear Montana title and is currently in Helena Montana. It has plenty of torque but the transmission is geared for heavy loads which limits the top speed. You can cruise on the highway at around a max speed of 62mph. You can easily change the gear ratio if you want with a different rear differential or bigger diameter tires.
