**THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN RICHMOND BC, CANADA. ELIGIBLE TO IMPORT IN TO USA. **This 1990 Toyota Sera is a 5-speed manual example that was imported from Japan to Canada two years ago. This example features several modifications, including Rays alloy wheels, a limited slip differential, strut tower bar, aftermarket air filter and an aftermarket stereo. The seller has changed the engine and gearbox oil, and replaced a front right axle boot, right door shock and rear hatch shock during their ownership. This Sera is sold with a clean British Columbia title in the seller's name.
This Sera is fitted with a set of Rays alloy wheels, but no other cosmetic modifications are noted. The Japanese export documentation states that the car does not have any accident history, though it is unknown if the silver-grey paint is all original.
he Sera features "butterfly" doors, with glass all the way to the top of the car's central spine. Sun shades are included for the upper portion of the glass. The shades are shown in the gallery. The seller replaced the right door shock as well as the hatch shocks during their ownership.
The interior is upholstered with a stripe-pattern blue-grey upholstery. An aftermarket stereo is fitted. The Sera was marketed as an alternative to the MR-2, and included 2+2 seating. All interior features are working, including heat and A/C. The seller has added 8k kilometers over two years and the odometer now shows109k kilometers (~65k miles).
Power comes from a 1.5L Toyota 5E-FHE inline four mated to a 5-speed transaxle with an aftermarket limited slip differential. The drivetrain is largely shared with the US-market Tercel and Paseo. During the seller's ownership, the engine and gearbox oil have been changed and the front right axle boot was replaced. The only older service record for the car shows that the timing belt was changed before the car was imported to Canada two years ago. An aftermarket strut tower brace, and open-element air filter are fitted.
