1977 Toyota Celica ST Description:

This is the type of car that gives you smiles per gallon.
I bought this Celica in California in 2016 and restored it. The engine was overhauled, the body has new paint, and it was also reupholstered. I changed the big OEM bumpers for the Japanese ones. I upgraded the OEM carb for a Weber carb (original).
•PaintIt has 2K paint and the name is called "Triple Yellow". This Celica was white when I bought it, which seemed to be the original color.
•TiresI bought new tires and Konig rims. Falken tires 195/60R15.
• ExteriorI replaced the OEM bumpers for the Japanese style bumpers. These bumpers are made of fiberglass which makes the car even lighter and I also added a front lower valance.
•InteriorThe dash has a plastic cover which makes it look the OEM dash. New carpet, new upholstery in light brown. All buttons and gauges work fine and it still keeps the OEM stereo which also works!The heater is working well and it does now have A/C.
• EngineThis is a 20R engine (2.0L), the engine was overhauled 3 years ago, as I said before it has a new Weber Carb (Made in Spain). The water pump, alternator, and the radiator are new too. I also replaced the fuel pump and cleaned the gas tank when it was being restored. It runs and drives beautiful and it is something really different to see in the streets.
• TransmissionThe transmission was doing good when I decided to restore it. It is 3 speed and can get you anywhere.
• The car is located at El Paso Texas
• When I bought the car I had no title, so I got a bonded title under my name.
The car is missing a lower rear valance (please see pictures) and front side markers but this is due to the replacement of the front bumper.
