We imported this JDM car from Japan 2 years ago with 50,000km. It has been extremely reliable, practical, and efficient for us. To top that off it does great in snowy weather and is really predictable/fun/safe to drive in inclement weather.
Vehicle is a right hand drive and displays mileage in Kilometers. It is 100% legal to register, insure and drive just like any other vehicle (but way cooler).
