1980 Land Cruiser BJ40 rare diesel **REDUCED**MOTIVATED TO SELL

1980 Toyota Land Cruiser Description:

This 1980 BJ40 diesel that is my daily driver. It drives and runs great and is a real head turner. All systems are working as they should. The only thing that doesn't work is the odometer.
Brakes- power assisted brakes work well. stops straight. NEW parking brake assembly.Clutch- clutch is smooth with no chatter or slippageSteering- NEW old man emu steering stabilizer. Steers very tight and responsive for one of these vehicles.Suspension- NEW old man emu leaf springs and shocks front and back with 2.5 inch lift and greasable shacklesTransmission- 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly. Gear oil was just replaced.Diffferentials- gear oil was just replaced in front and rear differentials4 wheel drive- Shifts into 4H and 4L easily. Oil was just replaced in the transfer case. Seal was just replaced in transfer case.Tires- NEW Toyo 265 75 15 open country tires recently installed.Wheels- NEW oem steel wheels and oem hub caps were recently installed.Body- The body is in good shape with no rust. It was painted in March 2018. Frame- Frame and under carriage are rust free. Frame is straight.Seats- The seats are covered in gray vinyl and have no rips or holes.Dash- Speedometer works in KPH. All other guages work except odometer.Heat- NEW aftermarket heat and defrost was recently installed.Windshield wipers- The wipers work as intended. NEW wiper switch was installed recently. NEW washer assembly recently installed.Seat belts- NEW seat belts recently installed.Floors- Floors are solid with no rust. Custom floor mats are installed.Bumper- NEW Hell for stout trail front bumper with shackles was recently installed with NEW 9500 lb superwinch.Lights- Headlights signals and backup lights all work.Engine- The Toyota B diesel engine is the best thing about this truck. It has great power and torque and runs strong. I recently installed a block heater for cold morning starts. The glow plugs work as they should. They claim these engines get 30+ mpg and I believe it. It is very fuel efficient. It smokes a little on cold start but I think that's normal.
