1991 Toyota MR2 BASE GT Description:

1991 TOYOTA MR2 2.2L, MANUAL TRANSMISSION. One owner since new. I purchased from an insurance company as a flood vehicle. The car was parked when it was surrounded in about 8-10" water. The insurance company marked the water level on the vehicle. My mechanic replaced the starter, changed all the fluids and the car started right the way. We also replaced, the timing belt, water pump, cam seals, battery, spark plugs, shifter boot and drive belts because we did not know the service history of the vehicle. The car runs and drives, A/C cold and everything works (Airbag light is on). No smell inside the vehicle. No previous accident or paint job. All the body panels have the factory VIN sticker. Original paint.It is an unmolested original car. No modifications. Hard to find an MR2 in original condition.
Sunroof has a crack but not leaking, and left front fender has small damage (see pictures). It has a FL Certicate of Destruction, not a title. It can not be registered in Florida, I do not know about other states. I'm selling as a parts car or for export. It is a shame to banish this car from the road but the insurance company decided to do it. I'm selling it because I can't use it here and I have 3 other MR2s.
