1980 Toyota PICKUP TRUCK SR5 Description:
THE OVERVIEW
Offered for an appreciating new ownerat NO RESERVEis this classic 1980 TOYOTA SR5 two-wheel drive pickup truck
Finished in what looks to be all original tan over saddle tan and plaid cloth, this nearly four-decade old California blue license plate specimen shows just over 80,000 miles on the working five-digit odometer. [The mileage is strongly believed to be true but I cannot 100% verify this]. It features a strong running 20R four cylinder engine mated to the desirable factory 5 speed manual transmission, tachometer, factory 14" wheels with trim rings, working original am/fm radio, SR5 decals and is being sold with clean and clear California title in my name.
This is a fabulous find, for less than the cost of THE SALES TAX ALONE ON A NEW BASE-LEVEL Tacoma!
THE BODY AND TRIM
This exterior of this 1980 Toyota is in VERY original condition with a definite "patina" to the body with large areas of surface corrosion BUT structurally very solid with nice chrome bumpers and original steel wheels with beauty rings. The tires are mismatched, worn and choppy, I have a decent replacement set that will be included with the sale of this truck.
THE INTERIOR
As I hope is articulated in the photos, the interior of this '80 Toyota is also in quite original condition overall with nice dash and headliner, decent door panels, working original radio, roll up windows and working odometer. Imperfections inside include soiled/worn carpeting, vinyl seat material torn, slightly tattered door panels, inop tach and horn and I have not tried using the a/c...if it even has it.
THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE
