1986 Toyota 4Runner Description:

1986 4runner EFI, 4x4, 22RE, manual transmission. 394000 miles but engine was rebuilt less than 8k miles ago. Previous owner did the rebuild and I have LOTS of receipts for parts and work done on the rig, along with the original window sticker from the dealership in 1986. Runs and drives good. Body has some damage on the driver side, quarter panel. Shifts smooth, however you have to hold it in 3rd gear while releasing the clutch in order for it to engage. Otherwise all good. Interior is rough but most of the trim and paneling is there.
Previous owner had the cylinders bored 0.030" over by a reputable machine, cylinder head completely renewed, new valve seats, new intake valves, new pistons, rings, bearings, head gasket, water pump, timing chain, japanese chain tensioner, new clutch and clutch master cylinder, distributor, new radiator, spark plugs and wires. New shocks, rear leaf spring supports. Sony stereo and 12" Pioneer subwoofer. Sounds great.Rear window works. Detachable sun roof.
New front bumper and hood. Hood is primered black and ready to paint.
