1990 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 Description:
The iconic Toyota FJ62 Land Cruiser. The prices for these trucks are sky rocketing. If you are looking for a good project truck - not a perfect truck, this one is for you. The truck was "raised" in Nevada and was there most of her life. The last years were on the East coast. She drives straight, brakes great and the automatic transmission is smooth as silk. She has 243k miles and just got a brand new exhaust system ($743). I spent over $1400 at Land Cruiser Specialists (LCS) to go through the truck and make sure it was road worthy. She has current inspection and registration sticker so no need to worry about that for about year. The oil pan was just replaced ($384) and the valves adjusted ($215).The truck does have some rust areas on the frame rails (see pictures) and should be reinforced before going off-road. Otherwise, it drives great around town. She needs some work on the A/C (compressor locked up). I have not yet attempted to fix the AC but if I do soon, I will raise the asking price to compensate for the cost. I have installed an original OEM radio to replace the aftermarket system that came with the truck. There are practically new tires on the truck and the brakes are in great shape.
The original owners paperwork for the truck is in the glove box. The original window sticker, owners manual, warranty binder and original owners paperwork from Nevada.
Update: the roof rack has been removed. It does NOT go with the truck now. However, it is available separately for $400.
