This 1980 FJ40 it's in a stunning condition. It drives runs and shifts gears excellent!!!!This one was built for U.S. market FJ40.***Olive green #653****CLEAN FL TITLE!!!!***. ***
This is an original 4 speed transmission with a new clutch and sleeve master cylinder in the past two years.The engine it's an original( 2F). This is a healthy engine.It was rebuilded by previous owner in 2010.
Ambulance doors with original folding rear seat.Before I decided to restore this icon, I researched numerous web sites around the country, to find all the missing OEM parts and make this FJ40 looking exactly they way it was back on 1980 at the dealer show room (but at the end results were better because of some upgrades done to it).Header with flormaster exhaust and suspension with new shockabsorber (skyjacker).No power steering but it's very smooth to handle. My wife drives it.

There is no rust . Frame was sand blasted and painted (POR15). Every specs on this FJ40 was taken in consideration when restoring it. ***** There is a huge new parts list included in this sell.****
Transfer case:It was revised, seals were checked and fluids replaced. It works properly and the 4WD works at well.
Rearend, frontend was serviced following the specs.
Brakes:new master cylinder, rebuild buster brakes, discs brakes all (4) ways. with new pads, rubber hoses and fitting and caliper.Including New marine battery.New dash and windshield frame rubber seal.
Air Conditioning ;This is a factory air conditioner. Not a vintage unit. Original Radio it's in place. Seats were redone.using the same color and pattern apparence to keep original stage,(new OEM head liner and new rubber fiberglass top seal (gutter).The A/C is working but has a small leak of freon..
This truck belong to a 75 year old gentlema, that was his owner since 2010. He took good care of it and he decided to sell me it due to a knee surgery that made him impossible to drive and shift (clutch).He kept all records and info regarding service and maint. since 2000 until present day. Also including a full folder with receipts and mechanic service reports, also I inheritage the owner manual,service manual and parts manual.
Included with this sale will be a tool kit and an original jack.Doors, hood, interiors, fenders,engine bay and dash were painted after been disassemble from the FJ40.
All doors rubber seals were replaced (brand new).All hardware was replaced with stainless steel marine grade.
Electrical System:New alternator. Tested electrical system and works like it should be, all of it (parking lights, brake lights, signals, dome lights) etc.
(5) New tires, including spare tire and OEM original rims and hub caps.Size 31X10.50R15This truck is selling locally too.
