This 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 was imported to Buenaventura, Colombia in 1979.
This FJ43 had two owners in the same family.
It was imported to the US last month.
Work has included a repaint in red and white, reupholstering the interior, rebuilding the 4.2L inline-six, and more.
Features include manually-engaged front hubs, rear troopie-style seating, a folding windscreen, and grey painted steel wheels.
The truck is equipped with a 4-speed manual, and a certiicate from Toyonorte is included in the sale.
This FJ is now offered for sale with a clean Florida title in the name of the seller’s company.
This example received a repaint in its original red while in Colombia, and the white hard top was refnished at the same time.
New front and rear bumpers were installed during the updates, and the prepped side-steps are shown in the gallery.
The rear trunk area was replaced and factory Toyota parts were used when possible.
The grey steel wheels carry a set of BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires.
The interior was refnished with new grey upholstery, rubber door mats, seatbelts, and door cards.
Additionally, various door locks, handles, and other interior mechanical components were refurbished.
An Alpine radio has been installed on the center dash, and aftermarket speakers have been added to the door cards.
The odometer currently shows 36,001 kilometers (~22.3k miles), although true mileage is unknown.
The 4.2L inline-six was rebuilt.
In the past month, the truck has been serviced with an oil change along with additional electric repairs.
The engine is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission.
This truck is a strong driver.
