I discovered this One Owner Completely Original 1979 Toyota Corolla in the southern Idaho dessert where it had been stored in a family barn for many years which I believe, is the reason for its incredible condition.
I have spent the last 5 months “Preserving” this vehicle. I have gone through this Toyota front to back to insure that the next owner has a GREAT, FUN DRIVING EXPERIENCE!

This vehicle ran when I bought it, but as one would expect needed to be freshened after so many years in a barn so following is short list of what my mechanics and I have done.

A Full tune up by my mechanic was performed including:

New distributor cap and rotor

Spark plugs and wires

Replacement of rear wheel cylinders & brake fluid

Front and rear wheel bearings repacked and replaced seals

Radiator flushed,

New cap installed

New fan belt, fuel filter, air filter, oil and filter

Full rebuild of the carburetor

All of the electrics in this vehicle work perfectly!

I spent 3 months detailing the car inside and out. I removed and all of the lights, bumper trim, seats, carpet, inner fender wells etc. I installed new wiper blades, light bulbs, cleaned all the sockets,polished and waxed the exterior, treated all of the rubber etc. I replaced all 4 tires with brand new Kumho Solus all season radials. The windshield had some stars and cracks which have been repaired. The car is exceptionally clean and straight with all original paint! It has some chips in the paint and a couple dings which I have not tried to hide.

The vehicle has no rust at all except for a tiny dime sized area on the lower right front fender. I have cleaned and treated that area and it will not spread. The interior is 100 percent original and in amazing shape! The photos tell the story! The original jack, lug wrench and Owner’s Manual and original bill of sale dated 9/21/79 are included as well as a clean title.

This 1979 Toyota Corolla is now ready for its new owner. It starts right up, shifts crisply up and down through its 5 speed transmission and I have run it up to 80 miles an hour. The brakes are wonderful, the heater blows hot and the AM radio only plays Country Music! The handling is great and it is a pleasure to drive! NO EXCUSES AND NO SURPRISES!!!
