1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ-62 Description:
Outstanding original FJ-62 Land Cruiser with absolutely no rust - yes I know everyone says that - but no rust.. All original paint, interior and mechanicals in outstanding condition, and at 227k miles it is barely broken in!.We are the 3rd owners and have had the truck for about 5 years, bought it off a fanatic who kept it polished and shiny for years. This FJ featured in a Japanese off roading magazine a few years before we bought it, that's our claim to fame! From what we understand it spent it's life in California until we moved to Washington State a year ago.
Original paint and pin striping with very few blemishes, small quarter sized example shown in the photos. The paint polishes up well. Most of the weather stripping is in great condition with the exception of the driver's door window.
Interior is also excellent with 1 small tear in the driver's vinyl seat and one of the knobs snapped off the center vent grille (see in photos - I do have a replacement) but otherwise very clean, seats and headliner in excellent condition. Dash also very good condition with no cracks.
Drives very well, always been reliable, we drove it the 1000+ miles up from California when we moved - effortless. The a/c was converted a year ago, so all new components there. The only other thing I would comment on is the central locking and electric windows can be a bit slow or need a couple of clicks at times - again I believe this is common for these trucks.
