This sale is for a vintage Suzuki TS 100. Listing this for my father who is the third owner. The bike has only 250 original miles. The story on why;
A local gentleman purchased this new at the local Suzuki dealer for his only daughter. He had only one rule. She was only able to ride it when he was home. One day the gentleman came home from work early and caught her and her best friend riding it right past him on the street. He was furious. He took the bike away and told her the only way she was to get it back was when he was dead. Sadly he past and good to his word the daughter inherited the bike. By then she was a grown woman and wanted no part of it.
She sold it to her best friend. The very same one who was riding it at the time it was taken away. My father purchased it from her now living in Indiana.
There will be those who are sitting on their a_s reading this and will most likely poo poo the story. It is what it is. It can be verified but at the end of the day it is an unrestored motorcycle.
The bike was ran earlier this summer. No rust in the tank (see pic) Now needs a battery. It is not mint and needs detailed. The nub on the brake lever is broken. The area next to the speedo where the key goes is cracked.. Otherwise it is pretty nice. It is un cleaned and un detailed. There is some pitting on the handlebars that may or may not be able to be cleaned. The exhaust is not modified or rotted out.
Clear Indiana open (signed) title. I have placed a small reserve only not get killed if there are no bids and for some reason it sells for scrap price. a $200. non refundable deposit must be sent within 3 days of auction ending. Payment in full within 5 days. Deposit is important and must be sent (with tracking) prior to coming to pick up. I do NOT accept paypal. This is to identify problem buyers early on.
