Factory Five Racing MK4 Cobra replica powered by a 4.6 liter DOHC all aluminum SVT Mustang Cobra engine (350hp) and professionally rebuilt 5 speed Tremec T45 manual transmission. This is a replica kit car from probably the largest, best and most reputable company in the business - Factory Five Racing. The Mk4 Roadster is designed to accurately reproduce the looks of the legendary 427 Shelby Cobra, keeping its essence intact, while using modern technology, parts, and materials to improve performance, reliability, and comfort. Professionally built and completed in April, 2011. All parts are new except the engine, transmission and differential. All new wiring, gauges, interior, coil over suspension, wheels, tires, etc. The cost in 2011 for the Factory Five Complete kit was $25,355 with optional items. This does not include any labor, paint, tires or drive train. In addition to finished, painted car, there have been $4,955 (with receipts) in improvements in the last 36 months. It is titled as a 1965 Ford in New Mexico. Included with the sale are build manuals, hundreds of detailed build photos and all information about the car. It has the Kirkey racing seats which permits taller/larger drivers.
Sounds and drives awesome. Essentially a new car. No leaks or drips anywhere. Got First Place at its first and only car show.
Comparables at 2018 Barrett Jackson auction last week were $38,000-$50,000 for older Factory Five replicas with higher miles.
