1965 Shelby Description:
1965 Shelby Cobra CSX 4952 LeMans Blue and white • Roush 427SR small block with twisted wedge cam making 502hp and 521lbs/ft. Hydraulic cam, roller rockers, 4340 crank, 4340 H-beam rods, “road race” front sump 8qt pan. Completely built, balanced and Dyno’d by Roush • Tremec TKO 5speed with .68 OD (great freeway gear). • Had insulation added professionally behind the dash and under the tunnel. Can’t see it and it greatly decreases the heat transfer to passengers. • Driver seat sliders removed to lower seat about 1 inch and give more leg room. • Added the bullet side mirror. • Avon tires (might still have the original BFG’s in storage). • Has battery shut off, door map pockets and glove box. • 3M clear on leading edges. • Car cover Car was finished June of 2010 and currently has 3100 miles on it. The car stays covered in the garage on a lift. Small chip (3/16 inch) on driver front fender shown in photo’s. Also a few small rock chips prior to the 3M being applied 2 years ago. This is a HST car.
