1993 Shelby AC Cobra JAC 427 Description:

1993 Excalibur Cobra JAC 427. This vehicle is one of approx. 172 cars hand built in a controlled environment in the Excalibur Motor Company facility in Milwaukee, WI and is D.O.T. approved. This was not built by a backyard mechanic using kit parts that come in the mail with spare misc. parts. When built in the Excalibur plant the fiberglass was hand laid which results in the strongest process of building a fiberglass body, kit cars most often are built with a chopping gun that applies the fiberglass which is a much weaker technique.These cars were built with a slightly longer wheelbase to accommodate normal height people to drive, i am 6'-3" and i drive the car comfortably. Total miles on the entire car since built is 6,207 miles, this will go up slightly as i drive it to work occasionally. the engine is a Factory Ford 5.0 liter E.F.I., transmission is the factory installed Tremec 5-speed and rear differential is the original Ford as installed at the factory. Exhaust system is completely new from block to exhaust tips, it is all stainless steel, side pipes are ceramic coated. New Wildwood front calipers with stainless brake lines are installed by a professional mechanic. The rear brakes are new O.E.M. Ford brakes ( to retain to factory emergency brake )with stainless brake lines installed by a professional mechanic. Radiator was completely restored and re-cored. New Ford O.E.M. water pump is installed. Complete Heidt front suspension and rear suspension was professionally installed with QA1 front adjustable shocks, rear has 4-link with new coils and shocks. A soft top comes with the car that folds up and is stowed in the trunk. Spare tire, jack and wrench are in trunk and come with the car. This car is an absolute dream to drive, very tight handling with no body roll. This car has never been on a track or misused in anyway. This car is being re-listed as the previous buyer did not follow through with the terms and conditions of the sale
