NO RESERVE AUCTION FOR A REALLY RARE AND UNIQUE SAAB MODEL 97 SONETT. Need the space in my garage and I already have one can't drive two! Up for sale is a rare 1972 Saab Sonett III. Fiberglass body powered by Saabs German built Ford V4 engine. This is a really unique 2 seat sports car (I also currently own a 1974 that I drive regularly). Only about 8,368 Sonett IIIs were manufactured between 1970 and 1974 and very few still are on the road today. Car is a complete restoration project. The motor was taken out by the previous owner in 1991 to replace the clutch and the job was never completed but I have the clutch and pretty much every everything else you might need plus some extra NOS and spare parts. The motor is complete and on a stand. It can be placed back in the car for transportation. Maine does not use titles for vehicles this old so there will be a bill of sale only.
