1971 Saab 96 Description:

You can't have more fun in a funky vintage car than this. I've owned this car for about 2 yrs and have gotten more comments on it than any other vintage car I've ever had. Drive an old Mercedes, no one gives a thought, drive an old SAAB, and holy cow, you have people always approaching you.
This car is not only fun, but super solid. I cannot find rust on the car, it has new Vredstein tires including the spare. It runs and drives very well. The funky overriding clutch works perfectly. (I coasts when you let off the gas - however you can lock it and it works like a normal car). The car was painted by a prior owner in it's current color, which is not original, but the color fits the car well and it is an excellent paint job.
There is no smoke, no bad noises, it drives great, stops great, steers great. Everything works (except the clock).
You may see my other ad for a 1961 Land Rover, and as I state there, my interests have taken a turn and I am significantly thinning my collection. This car is a literally a traffic stopper, people photo it all the time.
These are hard to find in this condition, frankly hard to find at all, yet parts are available and they are super easy to work on.
