2017 Factory Five 818R Chassis track car - Subaru powered 818R chassis
1900 Replica/Kit Makes Description:
This car started life as a Factory Five 818R. I removed the fiberglass body after an engine fire and built a minimal aluminum body as seen today. The fenders are removable if you want to run open wheel. Some organizations require body mounted fenders so they are there. The car has also been converted to a single seat center drive.I built the car in 2017. As this is a track car, I did not get it registered or licensed to drive on the street.
Engine is a 2.5L turbocharged Subaru with forged internals.Exedy 6 puck extreme clutch and lightweight flywheel.
Wheels are 17” front and 18” rear.4 piston wilwood rear brakes, Subaru WRX brakes front.5 speed manual transmission with Cusco LSD.Snow performance water methanol injection.AEM wideband O2Firesense fire suppression systemElement tuning Dry sump oil system.Nine Lives racing rear wing.Custom Reviere carbon fiber front wing.Custom center drive steering rack.
