Fully restored by the Antique Auto Shop of Hebron, KY, no expense was spared by the previous ownerwith the body offrotisserie restoration. With a full engine rebuild and the complete cosmetics restoration by AAS, you can be assured that the little Renault istoday betterthan when it wasnew. With only 53 miles since completion, this gem is not for everybody because it is a trailer queen but we do start it and drive it around the block every other week. Slow but absolutely beautiful, it attracts the largest crowds at any car show. In fact this Dauphine is so outstanding it should be in either a museum or on the lawn at Amelia Island.

The Renault is powered by its original 845cc 27 hp water cooled rear engine. The car was designed by Luigi Segre, the same stylist who designed the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. Because of the fragility of the car very few survived in the US, especially because of rust. The restoration on this car was started with a low mileage California car which explains its survival andthe good starting point for a body off restoration. Numerous photographs were taken throughout the restoration and a complete binder depicts the process. This and other documents will be passed on to the new owner along with the car.
