Purchased by prior owner in 1983 for $14,500.00, the car was black at the time of this sale. Miles at this time were 69,300 and the documents included with that sale were the original window sticker, 1983 odometer statement, 1973 owner's manual, 1973 original Porsche maintenance record book, 1973 emissions control book, and the Blaupunkt radio manuals.

We found and purchased the car in August of 2020 and placed it in warehouse storage. In late 2022 we pulled the car out and began to service it (battery, fluids, fuel system were all serviced and cleaned). Since servicing, it has been sparing driven. Heavily documented early service history that includes over 30 invoices from Jim Kelly's Inc in Buffalo, NY that span 1973-1978. Last odometer reading from these invoices was 62,993 in 1978. Service records from prior owner start in 2001 at 79,181 miles. New tiresmounted and balanced at that time. Targa top restored in 9/2001. 16x6 Fuchs forged alloy wheels from Wheel Enhancement in Culver City, CA were done in 9/2002. In Nov/2002 a full engine rebuild was done by Motor Meister Inc at 81,321 miles was running on carburetors at that time. The engine rebuild done in 2002 was over $11K. Last invoice we have from prior owner was hood shocks purchased in Feb/2003.

The 911 now has 84,160 miles showing it has been driven sparsely since the rebuild over 20 years ago. The car left the factory in color code 936, Silver Metallic, and was color changed to Black prior to 1983. It has been garage kept since and the paint is best described as driver quality at this time. It has some touch ups and shows well for 40-year old paint. The original leather seats are worn in, but certainly not worn out as they have had sheep skin covers on them since day 1.

Engine number is 6135166; Transmission number is 7339646 and both are clearly pictured for verification.

There is some rust in the floor pan that is clearly pictured and is shown in the chassis pictures as well. The car runs and drives well but has not been driven at highway speeds and would require some additional servicing and sorting including tiresprior to any "spirited" driving as Porsche owners are known to do from time to time.
