Brumos 1988 Porsche 924SWP0AA0920JN4515981 of 2 built5-Speed ManualAttention Collectors. Very Rare. PCA Member Owned. Brumos Porsche of Jacksonville Florida created this special car. Only 1 of 2 that are known to exist. Clean CARFAX with no accidents. Original body panels with factory decals. TheAC blows cold. Mileage exempt. Original glass is nice. Runs great. Shift great. Clutch is good. Cold start is good. Brakes work well. No pulling. Alignment good. No odors, never smoked inside. All original keys and paperwork. The power tilt and removable sunroof works, some new clips installed but one more needs attention. Original seats are torn and the dash is cracked (but cover installed). New Porsche floor mats. The wheels are straight but could use refinishing. The tires are decent and matched. Some nick, dings and scratches but generally a well presented original car. A new starter and window regulator was recently installed and tune up - service performed at Aero Dynamics in S. Daytona. A new car cover, COA, clean CARFAX, and display signage included.
The 1988 924S has the higher hp engine and other great upgrades. Basically, the entire drivetrain (i.e. engine, transmission and suspension, brakes, etc.) are from a 944 during the final production run of the 924S in 1987 and 1988.
Brumos work orders and receipts are included. This historic Brumos 924S has an autographed owners manual signed by Hurley Haywood and other Brumos staff. It was displayed at Amelia Island PCA Werks Reunion 2019 and at DRT in Miami in 2019. I've personally driven this car on a few long road trips and it worked beautifully.
