Numbers matching, Certificate of Authenticit, 1 of 174 made and this Carrera has the ultra rare factory hard Targa top only available as an option in 74 and 75. This vehicle is fully documented with records verifying 29, 696 miles. The 2.7 series 911 Carreras in 74-75 had the rear fender flares, wider 7+8" Fuchs alloys unique to this series. Fiberglass rear tail similar to the 930 Turbo that was introduced in the USA the following year. Fiberglass factory Targa top... It was purchased new April, 4, 1975 at the renowned Holberts Porsche dealership in Warrington, PA. It has always been in southeast PA and was religiously serviced. We purchased it from the 2nd owner. 45 years later the car needed paint, interior restoration( from sun damage) and drivetrain restored. We removed the engine, replaced the head studs, did a valve job and updated all the hardware required for a 2.7 . This work was done by our veteran air-cooled Porsche tech. He rebuilt the trans with all new syncs, sliders, bearings, new clutch, flywheel, Carrera tensioners, replaced the carpet, replaced the seats with factory grade leather, rebuilt the BOSCH fuel distributor, fuel pump, strip and repaint all the factory original panels ( full respray ) to show level. Prior to that the front calipers had been replaced, valves adjusted and oil changed on a regular basis. All the factory brochures, manuals, spare paint tube, original receipts come with the car. The only non factory part is the upgraded Becker radio. The car runs and drives perfectly. AC compressor, brackets and OEM airpump come with the car.
