This Carmine Red Carrera was bought new in Sacramento and is still owned by the original buyer. It has spent its entire life in sunny Northern California. 1987 was the first year for the 5 speed Getrag gearbox, a significant improvement for the Porsche lineup. The car has been well maintained. Along with proper service and maintenance,... it received a new clutch in 1991, new cat in 2010 and new top in 2015. Around 2000, while waiting at a stop sign, the car was bumped from behind. No frame or motor damage, but the fenders were replaced and repainted up to the doors. You can see a slight variance on the paint aging at the door line.
